I finally put the frogs on my Lotus Shirt in this elegant Oriental Satin in fiery orange red and black. I’ve paired it with Elope pants lengthened to the ankle in Vintage black Peau de Soie. I have had the pants fabric in my stash for probably 25 years and it came from a lady who did weddings, and no telling how long she had it.She left me her fabric stash in her will. It’s the real real deal and in excellent condition to last this long. I’ve kept it in a pillow case to keep it from rotting. I’ve saved it and the black satin and another piece of beaded ivory satin for something special. I added my grandmother’s vintage jet jewelry to make a truly fabulous outfit.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Really, amazing. You did a magicent job; so much so, that TG should use your photos for the pattern pictures. ( The plain pale pink used for TG didn't seem too appealing.) Standing ovation!!
Thank you. It was a lot of work!
This is so elegant! I hope you have a beautiful occasion to wear it soon!
we usually go to a mystery dinner annually at a local hotel. Due to Covid we won’t be doing it this year. My sister in law is hosting a small one at her home for a few of us and I’m wear it as my costume.
