Well, these patterns really came together fast. I made the Priscilla slip and Sugar slip. Both out of medium weight cotton. First the Priscilla. I really wanted a blush peach pink voile print and didn’t have luck finding one so I made this out of quilting weight cotton. I didn’t modify the pattern but I think if I make it again I might make it larger. It fits, but the dress doesn’t have the fullness I anticipated. Also, I cut 6 ruffle pieces instead of 4. The Sugar slip (version A) made up very quickly, again out of a small grey cotton print. Again, no modifications and I think it’s about as perfect as I could ask for. I love the more fitted top and full skirt. I will definitely make Sugar again and I may make Priscilla
out of white voile someday. Being that it‘s now into the 90’s here, I am not sure about wearing both of these together. The nice thing about the heavier cotton is that I don’t have to layer them until Fall if it’s too hot.
