I deliberated about showing you what I just finished. You may remember my failed attempt at Eileen out of heavy, too stiff cotton. I cut the skirt off and determined to make some PJ pants out of the fabric. Here are the Greta pants! Ok, first off, I didn’t attach the cargo pockets ( not enough material). i also made the cuffs only about 5” smaller in circumfrence than the bottoms of the legs. With my wider cuffs I simply took 4 tucks on the outside of each leg at the outer ankle. I loved how they turned out! Can I get away with wearing them as pants? They are stinking cute! One warning if you decide to make the Greta pants—measure the upper yoke pieces before you cut. I went with my regular size medium and they are ok but fairly fitted. I will definitely be doing these up again but I’ll go a bit larger on the next pair for some added Looseness.
