I used the inspiration of the white top shown from the Pinterest discussion and made Lillian in handloomed white slub striped cotton voile, from Loom and Stars on Etsy. It’s only 44” wide so that’s how wide I reduced the bottom of my Lillian top. The sleeve is very narrow on the pattern and I wanted a comfortable sleeve to wear during the summer when in air conditioning so I widened it to about 10” across at the wrist. I only had 2 yards of the voile (it was $24 a yard) so I cut bias strips from white batiste to bind the neck, and then used the batiste and cut 4” straight strips for fold back cuffs and 5” straight strips for binding across the bottom. I folded these strips in 1/2 in the usual manner of binding.

This is really lovely and I really like seeing this top made up. I ordered some ivory linen with the idea of trying this top. Thanks for showing!
