This is exciting. I've just turned 50 (OMG still getting over it) and starting to feel braver about what I wear. I've become very conscious of the ills fast fashion has caused, and am now very choosy about the clothing I purchase - it must be ethically, locally, or me made, which is at last reasonably achievable in Western Australia. We also have some amazing fabric stores popping up - Potter & Co linens in North Perth, and Woven Stories handwovens, handprints and naturally dyed Indian cottons - so I'm looking forward to supporting local businesses. I just did an audit of my TG patterns and found 32 all told - purchased and Sychil - this is my permission to get on with it! Looking forward to the change-ups and hacks.

Yes! Sounds like you’re ready for fun! And I love your attitude about our environmental situation.
By all means, support your local fabric shops, and don’t miss the opportunities for upcycling at local thrifts!
Waiting to see everyone’s creations!
Absolutely agree about the local thrift stores. I scored a couple of fabulous cotton duvet covers this week ... and one is a double side print so double the fabric! Looking forward to all of the creativity :)

Love the drawing so much that I am already thinking of how to make it come to life with fabric!
Thank you 🙏. It’s a drawing of a real dress so that would be so cool. Check out Madame Bukeshla. 👍😍
