The ATELIER
The ATELIER Workshops are designed to help you build a sewing practice that grows with you — not one you outgrow.
THE ATELIER WORKSHOP
This is about being devoted to embracing the arc of your creative practice in garment making.
I believe that sewing, when practiced with curiosity, patience, and attention, becomes more than a craft. It becomes a companion to your lifestyle. Whether you sew for yourself or wish to turn your garment-making into a business.

This workshop is not intended to instruct skills you already have, nor is it to accelerate or speed your practice. It is designed to ground and accompany you — stretch your creative curiosity by building a designer mindset. See through the foundations and how we can manipulate them into our own creative perspective and signature.
Building a quiet confidence in developing your own studio practice.

And may the garments you create hold the memory of the life you are living now.
With respect for the makers who came before us, and those who will follow,
Tina
WHO IS THIS FOR: This workshop is for thoughtful sewists who want to understand, not rush.
It is not designed for those looking for quick results or trend-based projects.
Here you will create blocks/slopers as a foundation to design your own clothes.
Fresh Fashion Designers welcome.

We serve the modern home garment maker who is no longer satisfied with following patterns, but is ready to understand clothing, adapt designs, and build a personal wardrobe rooted in creativity, fit, and self-expression.

We explore:

What fabrics consistently draw me in — and why?
-
How does material influence form, movement, and emotion?
-
Where do I force cloth to behave instead of listening?
